Item Description

Stun grenades are a disposable tool used to temporarily blind and stun anyone caught in the blast radius. Once the striker lever is removed with [LMB], a 3s detonation timer will begin. Pressing [LMB] again after removing the lever will throw the grenade in the direction you are facing. Highly useful as a tool to escape certain aggressive entities.

Acquiring

The stun grenade can only be obtained by purchasing it via the store command in the terminal or personal terminal at a cost of 30■.

A primitive variant, the DIY Flashbang, can be found as a scrap item on moons. This variant will detonate as soon as the cork is pulled, and will damage the wielder after detonation.

Tips

• Can be used to temporarily stun an entity. Acts as a shorter effect of the zap gun.

• The empty casing of the flashbang can be recovered and thrown again with no effect. The casing does have weight to it however, which can trigger landmines when thrown from a safe distance.

• The stun effect of this item can delay the windup of a Jester.

• The blinding effect can be used to instantly kill Peepers in the blast radius.

• Pulling the pin as you are about to be eaten by a Forest Giant will stun the giant, releasing your from its grasp.
