The Jetpack is a versatile movement tool that allows employees to access new locations with haste. While holding the Jetpack, pressing [LMB] will engage the pack, thrusting you vertically. Using your movement keys [WASD] and camera in this state will rotate and position you to move in different directions. The Jetpack can and will overheat with extended use, indicated by a HUD element showing the current overheat progress. Despite using fuel, the duration of the Jetpack can be reset by recharging it on the ship.
The jetpack can only be obtained by purchasing it via the store command in the terminal or personal terminal at a cost of 600■.
Use the jetpack in short bursts to prevent overheating.
Can be used to transport one-handed scrap back to the ship a lot faster than usual.
Can be used as a distraction to lure Eyeless Dogs or Forest Giants away from teammates, as your speed with the Jetpack can massively outpace these entities if used correctly.
