Positive:
Use your primary active ability to dash in one of eight directions.
Use your secondary active ability to open a radial menu, allowing you to select your active Witcher sign.
Press load hotbar activator to cast Quen, a protective ward that blocks the next source of damage you would otherwise take.
Use your ternary active ability to cast your selected Witcher sign:
Igni - Cast a wave of fire around you, damaging and burning entities caught in the area of effect.
Aard - Cast a telekinetic shockwave that shoves entities in front of you back.
Axii - Cast a hypnotic charm that stuns and blinds entities temporarily.
Yrden - Cast a slowing circle of runes that reduces the speed of any entity other than Witchers.
You can sleep besides a campfire while holding Alcohest to consume it and refill your potions.
Press save hotbar activator while near a Brewing Stand to spend Alcohest to restore an empty Witcher potion in your mainhand.
Press save hotbar activator while near a Contract Board to recieve a random contract.
Contracts can be received once per day (not including sleeping).
Press save hotbar activator while near a Contract Board and holding a contract in your mainhand to exchange for a random contract of the same rarity.
Contracts can be exchanged every 5 minutes.
Press save hotbar activator while looking at a Villager to turn in a Trophy for rewards.
Crafting:
You can craft Steel Swords.
You can craft Silver Swords.
You can upgrade your swords into Relic Weapons.
You can craft Witcher armour which can be upgraded to provide various set bonuses.
You can craft several key Witcher items: Alcohest, Campfires, Dimeritium Ingots, Enriched Dimeritium Ingots, Contract Boards.
You can craft Blade Oil, which can be consumed to empower your Silver and Steel swords when held in the offhand.
You can craft Witcher's potions, which grant various effects:
Swallow - Regeneration effect + Instant Health.
Cat - Movement Speed + Night Vision in the dark.
Blizzard - Slow and weaken enemies on hit.
Black Blood - Inflict Wither on attackers.
Thunderbolt - Raises attack damage.
Maribor Forest - Restores high saturation.
Full Moon - Increases Maximum HP.
Neutral:
Starts with a journal containing all info about the Origin.
Drinking Witcher potions raises toxicity meter, granting increased strength but increasing negative effects as the meter rises:
>60%: Nauseated and Slowed.
>85%: Damage over Time.
100%: Instant Death.
Negative:
You cannot use a shield.
You cannot wear helmets.
You cannot wear any armour besides leather, chainmail, and Witcher armour.
You mine 20% slower than a human.
You gain weakness and nausea temporarily after passing through a Nether Portal.
You take more damage from magic sources.
