Positive:
You always have Elytra on top of your chestplate slot.
You can use your primary active ability to launch yourself into the air.
You deal more damage while gliding with an Elytra.
Negative:
You cannot wear any armour with a protection value higher than chainmail.
Standing in a space with a low ceiling (2 blocks high) will weaken you and make you slower.
You take more damage from falling and flying into blocks.
