Memory Allocation

A guide on how to configure the RAM your instance will use. Select your launcher below.

CurseForge

Minimum Max Memory	Recommended Max Memory
4 GB (4096 MB)	6GB (6144 MB)

Configure Memory per instance:

1. Open the CurseForge app.

2. Click on the Origination instance.

3. Navigate to the kebab menu in the top right (3 dots), and select "profile options".

4. Uncheck "use system memory settings" and drag the slider to the recommended max memory shown above.

5. Hit "Done" and launch the instance through CurseForge as usual.

Configure Memory for all Instances:

1. Open the CurseForge app.

2. Click on the settings menu (cog) in the lower left corner.

3. Select "Minecraft" under "Game Specific".

4. Under "Java Settings", dragon the "Set the default memory allocated to profiles" slider to the recommended max memory shown above.

5. Close the menu and launch the instance through CurseForge as usual.

MultiMC

Minimum Max Memory	Recommended Max Memory

Configure Memory per Instance:

1. Open MultiMC.

2. Right-click on the Origination instance.

3. Navigate to Edit Instance > Settings.

4. Tick the "Memory" box.

5. Change the "maximum memory allocation" field to either of the values in the table above. You can add more minimum memory if you want the process to always have more RAM available.

6. Press "Close" and launch the game.

1. Open MultiMC.

2. Navigate to Settings > Java.

3. Change the "maximum memory allocation" field to either of the values in the table above. You can add more minimum memory if you want the process to always have more RAM available.

4. Press "Close" and launch the game.

Prism Launcher

2. Right-click on the Origination instance.

3. Navigate to Edit > Settings.

4. Tick the "Memory" box.

6. Press "Close" and launch the game.

2. Navigate to the instances tab.

3. On the Origination instance, "click settings".

4. Click "Java/Minecraft".

5. Change the "Maximum Memory/RAM" field to either of the values in the table above. You can add more minimum memory if you want the process to always have more RAM available.

6. Press "Save" and launch the game.

1. Open AT Launcher.

2. Navigate to Settings > Java/Minecraft.

3. Change the "Maximum Memory/RAM" field to either of the values in the table above. You can add more minimum memory if you want the process to always have more RAM available.

4. Press "Close" and launch the game.
