Getting Started

Origination can be installed using several launchers. In this guide, you will be provided with instructions to install the latest version of Origination on Windows through CurseForge, MultiMC, Prism Launcher, and ATLauncher.

  3. Open the CurseForge app, select Minecraft, and click on "Browse Modpacks".

  4. Search for "Origination". This modpack should appear in the list. Click "Install".

  5. After the modpack has installed, allocate the recommended memory (see Memory Allocation).

  6. Press play and enjoy! If you are experiencing performance issues, read the Performance Tweaks page.

  1. Download the Prism Launcher Windows executable using the provided link above.

  2. Run the executable to install the application.

  3. Open Prism Launcher. Navigate to settings > accounts and add your Microsoft or Mojang account to login.

  5. If you receive a popup stating that you cannot download certain mods through a third-party application, click "Open Missing" to manually download all of these mods - they'll download from your browser to your PC but will be automatically mounted to the instance.

  6. After the modpack has installed, allocate the recommended memory (see Memory Allocation).

  7. Double click on the modpack and enjoy! If you are experiencing performance issues, read the Performance Tweaks page.

MultiMC does not offer a direct download through CurseForge due to their policies. Instead, you must download the .zip file for the modpack directly and import it as a new instance, or install using a different method.

Method 1: Import from .zip

  5. After the modpack has installed, allocate the recommended memory (see Memory Allocation).

  6. Double click on the modpack and enjoy! If you are experiencing performance issues, read the Performance Tweaks page.
